Talia of Bite Sized Wellness sent me a fabulous package as a belated VDay present
First was some of the best kale chips I've ever had. I make mine at home with a little hot seseme oil, and nutritional yeast. But these were "cheesy" thanks to cashew cheese. yum!
Then I tried Danielle's Pumpkin Chips. "Chips" made just from dehydrated pumpkin were surprisingly delicious. Salty and sweet-but not too sweet
I just ate them plain. no dips required
Harlow's Kettlecorn was an obvious love. (Whoever first came up with Kettlecorn is my hero)
Last, but certainly not least was Bob's Red Mill Rolled Oats
I wanted to do something better than just make oatmeal with these guys, so i tried my hand at granola. And i'm converted. No more store-bought granola for me. I'll make granola weekly if I have to! Here was my first attempt, and I'm sure there will be many variations to come!
Cranberry Almond Olive Oil Granola
- Mix all the ingredients together in a big bowl. I like to use my hands.
3. Cook at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Stirring every 15 minutes.
4. Eat with some type of milk, over yogurt or ice cream. or out of the container.
