Elizabeth Eats: Hail Merry Treats

I have a new favorite dessert. And that's saying a lot for a girl with a serious sweet tooth. Let me introduct you to-Hail Merry!

I'm a little bit obsessed with these raw vegan desserts. and not just because they're raw or vegan but because they are SO DELICIOUS.

First, the macaroons. coconut, coconut oil and maple syrup make a rich, but still light macaroon (does that make any sense?) and at room temp they literally melt in your mouth.
The tarts are coconut oil based with an almond flour crust. If i had to pick a last meal, i think it would involve a lot of kale, and then a dessert of the Meyer Lemon Tart-seriously. The chocolate-almond butter is better than any Reeses' I've ever had.  Persian Lime and Chocolate Mint are also wonderful.
It's easy to see why they've won Best New Vegan Product at Expo West and a Veg News Award
Susan O'Brien-the founder, studied to be a raw food chef and landed on the holy grail in making these treats.

100% gluten free- BUT according to Hail Merry ~ 80% of their buyers are not raw or GF-they just love a delicious treat.

Find them at Whole Foods, Central Market, and other natural foods stores. Don't forget to check out their website! Ok- i think it's time for a macaroon break!

Full disclosure: I paid for these with my own cash money. I was in no way shape or form asked or obligated to write a positive review. Cool?

This is my favorite disclosure statement ever.

Also-chocolate and almond butter? It's so right!
