Elizabeth Cooks: Spicy Kimchi Roasted Brussels Sprouts

I love Brussels sprouts. Even when they're not perfectly in season. But sometimes New England Springs feel a lot like New England Falls. Deceptive sunlight that isn't always very warm. So spring Brussels sprouts it is. with kimchi. with heat. without bacon. (Sorry David Chang)
Spicy Kimchi Roasted Brussels Sprouts
  • 1 lb Brussels sprouts
  • 1 cup kimchi
  • 2 TBS sea salt
  • 2 TBS hot roasted seseme oil
Slice every lil sprout in half. Toss with kimchi, sea salt and spicy oil until sufficently mixed. Spread out on a parchament paper lined baking sheet. Roast at 350 for 45 minutes, stirring occaisionally. Enjoy!
