Welcome to Don't (White) Sugar-Coat It!

Something you should know-I very optimistic and have been known to abuse exclamation marks! I love trying new things and switching things up. Ruts and routines are no fun after awhile. I live life to the fullest, and believe everything always works out. What’ll I do next? Keep reading to find out!!!
My name is Elizabeth and I'm a Wyoming girl transplanted to the East coast, and then uprooted to Texas who loves everything related to food, fitness and fun! You can find me running, sweating in hot Yoga, cooking in the kitchen, dining out, or exploring. I’m all about eating REAL food-unprocessed, and fresh. I support the Local Foods movement and adore farmers markets and my CSA. I am on my way to become a registered dietitian with a B.S. in Nutritional Sciences from Boston University, and am currently enrolled in the University of Houston's Dietetic Internship. The purpose of this blog is to share my thoughts about eating a plant-based diet and exercise, through product and restaurant reviews and healthy lifestyle tips.
But just as important as what we eat is HOW we eat. I believe that building a healthy relationship with food and positive body image is a key part of a healthy, happy life. This is so important to me that I created a second blog, solely on the topic, called Guiltless because we should never associate guilt with our bodies or food.
